Timothy Grant - Director of Bands
Timothy Grant was appointed as the Director of Bands at Colgan High School in 2024. His teaching responsibilities include the Pride of Colgan Marching Band, Concert, Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Symphony, Percussion Ensemble and Jazz Band. Prior to Colgan, he held teaching positions with Alexandria City Public Schools and Fairfax County Public Schools.
Mr. Grant is a graduate of Penn State University, earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees in music education. While at Penn State, he served as a graduate assistant and worked with the Penn State Marching Blue Band, Volleyball Band, Basketball Band, and Hockey Band.
